I think life as a movie. And I am the main character of my movie. Same goes as you are the main character of your own movie. In movies- some realistic, some not, have background music. However in real life, there is no such thing as background music, no such thing as a miracle you can get whatever you want, a perfect life, a perfect movie. But I know for sure that in life, we are the ones who make choices. No scripts and all. That’s the thing about life you see, the freedom to do and choose whatever you want.
I wouldn’t really say I have a great experience and I am wiser now since I have been studying approximately three months in college now. I’ve been away from my family and I have got the chance to learn the true meaning of friends. I have learned the types of people in life and I have learned whom I should be with and whom I should not be with. I also wouldn’t say that this few months was spectacular, but I am glad and thankful that I had the chance to learn a few things on life. For instance, I know now that even sometimes people are friends with you just because of what you have and what they want from you. They’re not real friends; that is.
I have also learned that everyone is different. I have met different lecturers, from they way they taught and they way they approach their students. Some lecturers are very old fashion while some tried hard to fit in with teenagers like us. But no matter how different and how bad I think someone is, everyone has their good sides, and that is just the thing that I need to know about them.
It’s amazing how three months could open up my eyes to things like this and made me realize than my life before this was only a small phase. All the thing that I’ve been through has made me become a much stronger person and I thank God for that. I thank God of how close I am to Him now. That I am now able to thank Him for the love and everything He gave me.
You see, my life is my own movie. I believe that I want to make this movie something that I would love to watch. One day, I am going to make my parents proud and learn more stuff that I do not even know now.
