Judging workers pt.1

14:21

So, this post is basically going to be about my experience at several local stores.

I'm sure most of you have had the experience where you want to buy something (especially branded stores like, Coach, Mac, etc) but the workers there were giving "the look" like you can't afford any shit in that store.

First and foremost, I didn't really care about how people think and judge me but when it comes to being rude, I'm sorry but I certainly cannot stand it.

So, the first scene that I have ever encountered was at JPO (Johor Premium Outlet). I was shopping with my uncle in (I can't recall the store name) a watch shop. There wasn't that many people in that particular store and the workers had about 6 of them. So, in the store, there was my uncle, his wife, me and my cousin. It was only four of us. My uncle is very otai (low profile). He wanted to buy a gold with diamond accesories embedded with the watch for his wife. If you know him, he is ALWAYS like, literally ALWAYS in his pagoda shirt, loose khaki pants and crocs. He used to even wear that during weddings! (on uncle, hahaha)
Pagoda shirt and his kopiah (not my uncle)

The loose khaki pants.

Excuse his fashion sense --' So, what happened was, me and my cousin we were looking around talking about which one would suit her the best. And my uncle, he called one of the workers to take out the watch. But of course, you bet right! They ignored him and gave him "the look" as if he couldn't afford that watch. At first I didn't realize what was going on untill my uncle called my cousin to call one of the workers and help him take it out. What happened was, the workers said, "I can only take it out if someone can really afford to buy it. Not for pleasure or to only look at it" OMG. IS HE SERIOUS?

This guy does not even know who my uncle is and he is just some shitty worker who earns money by working at a SHOP. It's not like he OWNS the shop. Of course, my uncle was very chilled and he replied nicely, "It's okay. I know what I want anyways, I'll take this" and he immediately took out his chunky wallet and as soon as the worker saw, he approached him and asked what can he help him? WTH. SO RUDE. My uncle paid cash to the cashier and when he walked out, he said "To judge a human being for his looks, is just wrong. Fix yourself before this store becomes bankcrupt all because of your attitude, son" WHOA BURN! Hahahahahahaha.

If only they knew how much he earns per month which is more than 4 digits of their salary.

So, yes that was my first ever encounter.
