Yesterday I met and had lunch with my foundation friends. It's basically all girls but guys sucks (hahaha kidding!) These people are the one that made my foundation year a non stop fun adventure and I'm so lucky to have them as my friends! We ate at a restaurant near our college.

The ones you'll see in the pictures are Erika, Colleen, Christine, Yong Yu, Ong and Olivia. Okay I will have a one word description for each of them about the first thing that pops in my mind.

Erika: Organized.
Colleen: Smart.
Christine: Responsible.
Yong Yu: Genius.
Ong: Crazy.
Olivia: Hardworking.

Dern is actually backwards of nerd, if you notice. The reason why this post shall be called nerds is because these friends that I met up with today, well, they're all smart and they are on their way to success and I look up to them a lot. They were the person I'd look for when I seek for advices and when I had one of the worst times of my life-- falling in love.

Well, it's not really the worst time but it was a confusing phase for me. I was never in love. Ever. Before. This bunch helped me a lot. I couldn't be more thankful for that. Zuzu and ayuni remains legend........wait for it....dary!! Lol.

It all started 2 weeks ago when Razib whatsapp-ed me and asked for teacher amimah's number because he's going to Canada soon, and I proposed a meet up with him and these bunch since he's leaving and we haven't seen each other in a while. All and all we finally met after 3 years (for me, razib and luqman), 4 years (for me and haziq), 9 months ago (for me and ayuni) and a month ago (for me and zuzu).

Although it was for only a short while because Zuzu had to be back before 5, but we managed to make it a great memory. I plan to invite my boyfriend as well because he was also somehow a part of all this but since he's having his finals, I can't force him to come because those are much more important. I'll try to persuade him to join next time though!

Hi readers! (If there's anyone reading this)

I just got back from my freshmen (yes, I'm doing my degree right now). It was a great time to meet new people from my intake, since we're going to spend 3 years together, I figured I might as well join this event so that I'll meet people and get to know my batchmates/ classmates/ whatever you call it (cheh, padahal compulsory). I was about 45 mins late because, well, yknow Izz. Hahah nah, actually something happened but I'm too lazy to type and tell you guys why. All I could say was I had a great time meeting my batchmates and I'm thankful that they're all nice and friendly.

Yada Yada Yada I'm too lazy to type, so I'll just upload pictures because I took loads of picture since we were wearing graduation robes. I guess it's to give us motivation and tbh yes it did give me the motivation to study harder and finally be able to wear that robe again, in shaa allah now rightly.









This is hakim. He took this selfie when we asked him to snap our pic, but he took a selfie instead -- (he asks a lot of questions about girls to me) I'm like his wing women already ;_;




That's Ezzati, me and Damien. I just met Ezzati this a few weeks back and she's really nice! :) I met Damien during leadership camp and he's very smart and nice. We clicked just fine.




I'm sure everyone knows who this lil' (not so little) girl is. Wait, whoops, women. Hahaha, this is Colleen and she's my sensei, food partner, gym partner and all-in-one partner! She's the best. Met her during foundation first sem but we only got closer during second sem and she's the best (again, let's point that out)!




This is Christine. She's my sarcastic and running man partner although sometimes I don't understand her sarcasm, I just laughed it off. But really, even though she's sarcastic she could be the most caring person about you've ever known (my mom in college). If you're really close to her, you'd be thankful as heck to have her as your friend, she's great and I couldn't ask for a better friend indeed.




This is Rachel. We were in the same class during foundation (last sem) but we never talked to each other just hi's and bye's. But now we talk more often and she's nicer than I ever expected. A girl once said we look alike, do we? I don't think so, Rachel is waaaaaay prettier!




This is Leya. But we call her Dr. Leya. She's so pretty I can't neglect a post without her. I just met her this sem, actually a few weeks ago... and we clicked immediately!

Now on to The Daily Grind.

First and foremost; customer service.

Customer service was nice, the waiter smiled and replied to my questions politely. No judgemental looks were given. I'd rate it 4.5/5

Next; menu.

The menu had variety of choices from sandwich, nibbles (fried stuffs), pasta, stews and many more! I'd rate it 3.5/5. Why 3.5? Because it wasn't eye catching.

After that; price.

It was expensive for me (as a student). The burger itself (a la carte) ranges from rm23-rm55! OK for a burger that is toooooooooo much for me (ofc it comes with fries as well). I'm trying my best not to compare with KGB. The drinks, ok I have this policy of not buying drinks (except botomless) at restaurants because it is a waste of money they charge waaaaay to high.

When you’re in school, your biggest problems are deadlines for school work and getting the grades you are expected to get. Not to mention the social pressure. You feel as though there is no outside world, that school is it. That your problems are so huge, you fail to realise the current affairs going on on the outside world. The bigger picture.

This is a message to the kids who are still in secondary.

Skip classes, and run around.
Take your time eating your lunch, take as long as you need.
Take the longer way when going to the to the toilet.
When your school holds those events where you are not involved in and you just sit in class like a doodoo head. Climb the gates and get out. Go anywhere else.
Term exams aren’t that important. Finals are.
Question the teachers, always ask lots of questions. Keep asking why. (Then you’ll know they’re humans too, and they don’t know everything
Find your group of friends, even if it’s 1 person. You need a back up to survive.Don’t bully, or get bullied. Stand up for yourself.
Don’t do anything you don’t want to.Just because you don’t get the best grades, doesn’t mean you’re not smart.
Do fall in love. Don’t get pregnant. Don’t trust teachers. NEVER. He/She is not that important. You are. Whatever you do. DO NOT GET CAUGHT.

I find that secondary school is the time of your life to rebel. You’re not going to get second chances in the real world. You are in your own world; You are allowed to be oblivious. You are given second chances, third, even fourth. Endless. You are there to make mistakes.

Now, graduated and moving on. I learnt more than what was printed in textbooks, and assigned in homework. School taught me the sense of individuality. It taught me to be my own person, and flow against the current. It showed me how to define myself rather than letting others define me. I educated myself, and painted my own picture. And I’m leaving with the best memories of my life.

And I thank my schools for that.
