So, today I had my tourism video presentation. Oh my beanies! It was the first time of me editing videos and I kind of like it.... just for the memories part heheeh. I plan to have my own collection of videos and will edit my videos only for my personal use. hehe.
Ok, let's cut the crap.
So, I went to Bangsar Village with Christine today because it was a really stressful day and I needed a break. We went to The Daily Grind.
At first we wanted to go to KGB (Killer Gourmet Burger) which is my favourite burger shop. I went to KGB for the first time with Colleen and it was absolutely satisfying! We've both had never been that haappy in life (ok exaggerate) but it was perfect for students because the price was reasonable and the size was filling (I actually tapau half of it because to be honest, I don't eat much, I just constantly eat). Ok enough about KGB I will talk about it later.
Talk about the portion. It is too big for us! However, it would be fine if you ordered one and share for two people. Then, it would be perfecto!
Imagine how much we wasted. *sighs. Next time, if you wanna go there, I would recommend you to share with your friends or partner!

Now on to The Daily Grind.
First and foremost; customer service.
Customer service was nice, the waiter smiled and replied to my questions politely. No judgemental looks were given. I'd rate it 4.5/5
Next; menu.
The menu had variety of choices from sandwich, nibbles (fried stuffs), pasta, stews and many more! I'd rate it 3.5/5. Why 3.5? Because it wasn't eye catching.
Here's what we ordered!
The fruits was free due to iftar. On the left was Christine's and the right is mine. |

After that; price.
It was expensive for me (as a student). The burger itself (a la carte) ranges from rm23-rm55! OK for a burger that is toooooooooo much for me (ofc it comes with fries as well). I'm trying my best not to compare with KGB. The drinks, ok I have this policy of not buying drinks (except botomless) at restaurants because it is a waste of money they charge waaaaay to high.
This was what we ordered and the price:
I ate lamburgerni & mango peach. Christine had chicken classic & root beer. |
Adios, amigos!
