Is it really only God is allowed to judge me?
15:14
Assalamualaikum w.b.t readers :)
It's normal for all beings to be so lost in this world of material and often to only think of what is good for now. Me, especially I was a big time shopper that sometimes makes the people around me tired of giving advises. For instance, my parents are tired of my immature behavior of always wanting to be right. I was always caught up in this world and think that what matters for me is what makes me happy because it is my life and no one has the rights to change who I am.
But then.... I realize..
If no one has the rights to judge and advice me, how would I know that what I did was wrong? How would I improve myself? You see, society promotes this way of thinking that:
No beings are allowed to judge anyone because only God is allowed to judge us
Ok. So, let's take a step back and re-evaluate what this actually means. If I made a mistake, and no one in this world is allowed to "judge" me, how would I know that I am not doing the right thing. How come a Judge is allowed to judge a guy for his wrong doings while I am not? Is it because he has the rights to do so? I thought everyone has a right as a human to speak up for what they believe in? You see, society misinterprets this statement. Kids on twitter, facebook and Instagram nowadays post stupid things and some random girl came correcting their wrong doings and she gave this no-one-is-allowed-to-judge-me-except-god comments.
IF NO ONE WAS TO EVER CORRECT EVERY HUMAN Being IN THIS WORLD. IT WOULD BE A DISASTER.
Imagine...
Someone abuse a child and you tried to advise that person... But that person says, "you're not allowed to judge me because you are a sinner too".
Well, if a sinner is not allowed to judge and correct another sinner, who is? As far as I know, everyone is a sinner except all of Allah's messenger?
So, let's not fall into this only-god-is-allowed-to-judge-us thinking! Yes, it seems right because we often think that judging is a "bad" thing. It's actually not that bad (if you put it in an optimistic view!) of course there are those extremists who keeps on commenting on other's flaws but forgets his. Well...you have a right to judge him too! Just don't start to open up his aibs (wrongdoings) and tell everyone. It is better if you keep it between you and him.
